How they behave on your plan

Wall symbols line up with the wall

Outlets, switches, wall and under-cabinet lights, and the carbon monoxide alarm line up against the nearest wall when you place or move them near one. Ceiling and floor symbols stay exactly where you put them.

Plan-ready sizes

Each symbol starts at a size chosen for drawing it on a plan, in your drawing's units, metric or imperial. That isn't always the size of the device itself. Resize and rotate any of them.

Identifiers and labels

The switch, both alarms and every light have a short identifier of up to four characters, such as "3" for a three-way switch or "*VP" for a vapor-proof light. Every symbol can also carry a label that moves with it, such as GFCI or WP beside an outlet.
